Employed to manage CAD drawing services and tracers for the engineers and to administer the entire companies computer networking system. Main Duties included; Productions of presentation, tender, contract and record CAD drawings. Hand drafting as required. Managing CAD and office computer systems. Assist design engineers with mechanical design, small project administration and site surveys. Computer system fault finding. Computer software and hardware specification and upgrading. General training of staff with respect to computer software MS-DOS, Windows, Office, CAD etc. Advise and purchase computing equipment for the companies networking strategy. Maintaining regular system maintenance and backups. |

During my employment I personally specified and guided Watkins Payne Partnership from a three station Sage network up to the current thirty seven station windows NT network system, using Windows 95 on the desktop. Whilst at Watkins Payne Partnership I completed a HNC B/Tec in computing studies which I graduated July 1996. |

Employed as a Trainee Building Services Engineer and CAD draughtsman. Worked on various mechanical engineering projects completing calculations and designs using Cymap computer based design software and producing layout drawings and assisted senior engineers with their design calculations. Most of my time was spent producing CAD drawings using Fastcad and Autocad drafting software. Whilst at Watkins Payne I completed an ONC B/Tec in Building Services Engineering. |
